Guidance EXPO & Westchester College Fair

On Monday, October 17, 2011, College Financing Group will exhibit at Guidance EXPO 2011 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY in affiliation with the New York State School Counselor Association. Counselors from all over NY State will be sharing guidance and counseling ideas and programs that effect elementary, middle and high school counselors.

In the evening, College Financing Group will join hundreds of College Admissions representatives for the Southern Westchester College Fair at the Westchester County Center. This event is for high school students and parents to get information and ask questions regarding financial aid and the admissions process.

Keynote at Wilson High School

College Financing Group has been invited to be the keynote presenter at the Wilson High School (Wilson, NY) College Night event on April 28th. The event will begin at 7pm and will be hosted by the Wilson High School Guidance Counseling Office. The event will have area colleges representatives present along with breakout sessions on many relevant college topics from the college search and admissions application process to financial aid and how to pay for college. College Financing Group is excited to be the speaker at this event and we hope to see you there!

11th Annual College Admission Information Night

College Financing Group will exhibit at the 11th Annual College Admission Information Night on March 8, 2011 at 6:45 pm at Hilton High School. The event is sponsored by counselors from six area high schools which include: Brockport, Hilton, Holley, Kendall, Spencerport and Wheatland-Chili.

The following colleges will take part in the panel discussion: SUNY Binghamton, University of Buffalo, SUNY Brockport, St. John Fisher, Bryant & Stratton, Finger Lakes Community College, Medaille, and Rochester Institute of Technology.

The program will include general information presented by college admissions representatives who will review sample transcripts and discuss the way in which college admissions counselors evaluate them during the admissions process.

A “Q and A” session with the individual representatives will immediately following the presentation!
