The short version
College Financing Group, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses a small number of cookies on collegefinancinggroup.com. We use them to measure how the Site is used and to keep it secure. We do not show ads on the Site or set advertising cookies, and we do not sell your browsing information. Videos and other media embedded from other services can set their own cookies once you play them; see Embedded videos and media.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some cookies are set by the site you are visiting (“first-party”). Others are set by services that site uses (“third-party”).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the Site, which pages are useful, how visitors found us and their approximate location. We also count clicks on our phone number and “Schedule a Consultation” buttons so we know which parts of the Site help people get in touch. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are.

Forms and spam protection
Our contact and inquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting them. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser, such as how the page was loaded and interacted with. It usually works without asking you to do anything, and it is not used for advertising. When you submit a form, we receive the information you typed. That information is covered by our Privacy Policy, not by cookies.
Fonts
The Site’s typefaces are served by Adobe Fonts. Adobe Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser does contact Adobe’s servers to download the fonts, so Adobe receives your IP address and the page being viewed. See Adobe’s Fonts privacy notice.
Embedded videos and media
Videos we host ourselves set no cookies. If you change the volume on one of them, the player remembers that setting in your browser’s local storage (under “plyr”) so it carries over to the next video. Some pages and blog articles embed videos or audio from other services:
- YouTube: we show a preview image only. Before you press play, only that image loads, from YouTube’s image server and without cookies. When you press play, we use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once a video plays, Google may set its own cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Vimeo: some embedded videos are played by Vimeo, which may set cookies (such as vuid) to run its player and measure views. See Vimeo’s Cookie Policy.
- News players: a few older blog articles embed audio or video players from news organizations, such as NPR. These players are run by those organizations and may set their own cookies, including advertising cookies, under their own policies.
If you would rather avoid these cookies, do not play embedded media.
Controlling cookies
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Safari · Chrome · Edge · Firefox. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the Site works. Blocking security cookies may mean some visits are asked to complete an extra check.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the Site changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
