Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using collegefinancinggroup.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is operated by College Financing Group, LLC (“College Financing Group”, “we”, “us”, “our”), with offices at 5586 Main St, Suite 103, Williamsville, NY 14221 and 757 Cayuga St, Suite 4, Lewiston, NY 14092.
Information only, not individual advice
The articles, guides, glossary, FAQs and other materials on the Site are general information about paying for college and repaying student loans. They are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice for your situation. Financial aid rules, loan programs and repayment options change often, and some articles were written years ago and may be out of date, so please confirm details with the relevant school, lender or government agency, or contact us for a consultation, before making decisions.
Using the Site, or sending us a message through it, does not by itself create a client relationship. Every client signs a separate engagement agreement with College Financing Group as part of working with us. That agreement sets out the plan, fees and terms of our services. If anything on the Site conflicts with your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement takes precedence.
No guarantee of results
Financial aid awards, loan approvals, interest rates and repayment outcomes are decided by colleges, lenders and government agencies, not by us. We cannot guarantee any particular amount of aid, savings or result. Testimonials on the Site describe individual experiences, and your results may differ.
About our services
College Financing Group is a fee-based consulting firm and is not affiliated with any financial institution. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is free, and you may complete it yourself without professional help, on paper or online at fafsa.gov.
Use license
The Site’s content, logo and design belong to College Financing Group or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print materials from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership, and under it you may not:
- modify or copy the materials, except as allowed above;
- use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display;
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software on the Site;
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notices; or
- transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” them on another server.
This license ends automatically if you break any of these restrictions, and we may end it at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to submit false or misleading information, to submit someone else’s information without their permission, to send spam, or to interfere with the Site’s security or operation, including through automated scraping or bots.
Links to other websites
The Site links to websites we do not operate, including government resources, colleges and companies mentioned in our articles. We have not reviewed every linked site and are not responsible for their content, products, rates or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the site. Any loan or other product you obtain from a third party is between you and that provider.
Disclaimer
The Site and its materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. The materials may contain technical, typographical or other errors. They may not be complete or current, and we may change them at any time without notice. We do not commit to updating them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, College Financing Group and its owners, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its materials, even if we have been told such damages are possible. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless College Financing Group and its owners, employees and agents from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of anyone else’s rights.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle information collected through the Site.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by posting an updated version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the Site, you agree to the current version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts located in Niagara County, New York, and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Site. They do not replace your engagement agreement for our consulting services, which takes precedence over these Terms and anything else on the Site.
